At Southern Flora Farms, we treat our flowers the way we treat our food- we do not use any chemical pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, or fertilizers. We feed our crops by providing an abundance of organic matter such as compost, straw, and worm castings. We amend our soil occasionally by adding minerals such as limestone, bone meal, blood meal, and chicken manure.

Spring: narcissus, tulip, ranunculus, anemone, sweet pea, carnation, stock, statice, yarrow, ammi, baby's breath, clarkia, larkspur, viola, nigella, cress, delphinium, digitalis,  poppy, snapdragon

Summer/Fall: zinnia, cosmos, dahlia, amaranth, celosia, basil, mint, marigold, atriplex, centaurea, eucalyptus, gomphrena, hibiscus, matricaria, poppy,  lisianthus, saponaria, snapdragon, scabiosa, strawflower, sunflower

HOW TO CARE:
Flowers are handpicked within 24 hours of being sold, providing you with the longest vase life possible. Our bouquets are tied and wrapped, and left in water until purchase. Flower food packets are provided to maintain freshness. We recommend trimming your flowers upon arrival, utilizing flower food, and using the cleanest vessel available. The more you trim and provide your flowers with fresh, clean water, the longer they will last.
