Our goal at Southern Flora Farms is to provide our community with local foods in order to reduce human impact on the environment while nourishing our bodies. It is our duty to focus on the health of the soil our food grows in, so that you can focus on feeding your family the best produce our planet has to offer. We do not use any chemical pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, or fertilizers. We feed our crops by providing an abundance of organic matter such as compost, straw, and worm castings. We amend our soil occasionally by adding minerals such as limestone, blood meal, bone meal, and chicken manure. We are in the process of converting the farm into a regenerative and sustainable ecosystem through the grazing of livestock and cultivation of crops. Stay tuned to see how we grow over the years!
