Skip the imported roses this year and surprise your sweetheart with locally grown specialty tulips! These beautiful blooms were grown free of any chemicals right here on the farm in our heated greenhouse.
This is a pre-order option for a bouquet of ONE STANDARD BUNCH of specialty tulips FOR PICK-UP FROM OUR MARKET STAND ON SATURDAY FEBRUARY 14TH. Expect doubles, ruffles, parrot type, and fringed blooms, in bright, cheery shades of pink, red, or white. Colors may vary due to crop availability at the time of shipping.
Custom Southern Flora Farm note cards will be available with each bouquet.
Tulips are harvested early and tightly budded giving you more days in the vase. Expect to see these tulips stretch and dance in the vase over 7-10 days.
FLOWER CARE:
Remove packaging and rubber bands
Trim an inch off the stems using sharp, clean shears, at an angle (so that the stems don’t sit flat on the bottom of vase)
Clean your vase - it should be clean enough to drink out of
Fill 3/4 of the vase with water
Mix in the provided flower food packet
Remove an foliage beneath the waterline
Arrange your flowers in the vase and enjoy!
Repeat these steps every 3-4 days to maintain freshness
We will have some bouquets available for shopping day-of but supplies will be limited. It is best to pre-order to make sure you get all that you need!
